words that describe good workers
Team player
A person who gets along with others and contributes to the overall team goals without trying to be the star of the team.
John said he will only hire team players for the new project.
Trooper
A person who adapts to change without complaint.
Kelly was a real trooper throughout the company merger.
Asset
A person who is valued for his or her knowledge or skills. (also an accounting term)
Mary would be an asset to the team.
Liability
A person who is causing the group or team to be less effective or successful. (also an accounting term.)
Jim's poor computer skills make him a real liability to the team.
Savvy
A person who is very capable and knowledgeable, often about a specific topic. Often combined with another word, (see example)
Jan is the most computer-savvy of the applicants so she will offered the job.
